Audrey Friedman Marcus co-founded A.R.E. Publishing, Inc. As Vice President
of the company for 30 years, she edited and proofread every title that A.R.E.
published, as well as the annual catalog and numerous promotional pieces.
When she sold the company, Audrey established AudreyEdits. Recent projects have included editing two nonfiction books, one for a professor and one for the Assistant Managing Editor of one of the Denver newspapers; copy editing and proofreading a newsletter for a school of education; editing proposals and reports for a consulting firm; editing and then managing an entire project, including design, typesetting, and printing for a consultant who is rewriting the Handbook used in her workshops; and coaching a writer of a memoir and short stories.
Audrey earned a B.A. in English at the University of Denver and an M.A. in Jewish Education from Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles.
